Historic note:

Rev Lloyd was Rector of Easthorpe in Kelvedon. At his first meeting in April following the consecration four joining members were elected and six candidates for initiation of which five were five were initiated on that day. One distinguished joining member was Sir Richard Beale Colvin KCB and PGM. He was appointed High Sheriff at the same time and never took office at Easterford and resigned in 1894. The rest of his year as Master saw seven more initiates and six joining members. Rev. Lloyd was a member of the Provincial Charity Committee.
