Historic Note:

The year was notable by the visit of The Provincial Grand Master, the Rt. Hon. The Earl of Warwick in July. He took the Chair and an address of welcome was given by W.Bro.Cyril Deal before the PGM installed W.Bro.Buck as APGM. The Master was given the book by the PGM that he should be prepared to prompt, but it was not necessary. It was at that time the Earl of Warwick suggested that the Hall be used for daughters weddings which had a frosty reply from W.Bro.Eggleton. The Ladies were invited to a supper after the meeting which was a huge success and led to the annual Presidents Night. There were two initiations in the year.
