Historic note
His first ceremony after installation was to initiate his son Robert. In 2019 Easterford produced its own ritual book which he compiled with extensive details on each of the four craft ceremonies as well as the Festive Board. He had an amazing grasp of the ritual which was still in evidence in his 90s. He could step in at short notice on any address. He was the driving force in the founding of Easterford Mark Lodge. He was, for the second time, Master of the Mark Lodge at its 100th meeting at the age of 90. In the Craft he was awarded the DSEM by the PGM, RW. John Webb in 2015, at the 125th Anniversary meeting. He remained active at Easterford until he died in 2003 at the age of 96.
