Historic Note:
John Wilson was the Eastern Railways Chief Engineer who was lobbied by Dr.Salter and others to build a railway from Kelvedon to Tollesbury. Which was successful and the initiation of Bro.Wilson was a celebration of the opening. Although W.Bro. Browning assisted the installation was conducted by Sir William who also gave the three charges. A special train was laid on from Liverrpool Street with several Grand Officers. They enjoyed a six course banquet. At the next meeing He initiated his son Edward Wilson, who was to be the line engineer. There were two other initiations and two joining members.
