Historic Note:
The Master was Inspector of Police at Witham. There were four initiates, including Henry Weinrich who later became Provincial Organist. There were three joining members. The Bishop of Chelmsford resigned as it had been impossible for him to attend meetings. The organ was electrified in that year which was much to the relief of Bro. Cranmer the organ blower.
