He became Master at the time of the death of George V. The Chaplain, W.Bro.Weatherby gave a most eloquent address and the Dead March in Saul was played. There had been much debate about reviving the Ladies Night and the Master was determined that it took place in his year which was in December in the Grand Hotel in Clacton. There were 2 initiations in his year.
