Historic Note:
He was installed in February 1940 but the lodge did not meet again until January 1941. Colvin Lodge in Clacton, where W.Bro.Cyril Deal was Secretary could not meet but as the trains were running he arranged for those members to join Easterford in January 1941 where the Colvin Master took the chair and conducted a second degree ceremony for one of its members. The meeting was attended by the PGM.

W.Bro.Blyth continued for a second year with the same officers and there were some joint meetings with Colvin when possible. There were five meetings in 1941. There was one initiate in 1940 and none in 1941.
