Historic Note:

The lodge was enhanced by the election of DPGM Col. Higgins and APGM George as Honorary Members. There were also two joining members from overseas lodges; Bro.Dale from Lima Peru and W.Bro. Godfrey from Zambia. There was one initiate. In October the Lodge recorded the sad death of W.Bro. Cyril Deal with the transcript of Appreciation attached to the minutes. W.Bro. Bryant lived in Bury St.Edmunds and in 1989 he was appointed Provincial Junior Grand Warden in Suffolk.
