Historic Note:
The son of Pastmaster John Wilson had deferred his installation but in his carried out three initiations and there were three joining members.

War broke out in August 1914 and there was an emergency meeting to initiate two army officers Ernest McCready and Captain Edward Roome. Dr.Salter had been elected Master for a second term and was installed by the PGM, Col.,The Rt. Hon Mark Lockwood. There was a ten course Festive Board. In his year there were seven initiates and three joining members. In one meeting he raised four and initiated one candidate.
