Historic Note:

The lodge was going through a difficult period with low attendances. The Master was in office for two years. In May 1912 there was only six officers seats occupied and Dr.Salter acted as Inner Guard. There were five joining members and the only ceremonies were the initiations were of his brother Herbert and nephew Frederick.
