Historic Note:

In March 1918 there were two initiations and one joining member. He was known for his recitations which proved a tonic in war times. Peace was declared in November 1918.

Dr.Salter was installed in the Master’s chair for a third time by the Provincial Grand Secretary. At the end of the war saw an influx of nine new initiates, and eight joining members. One initiate was Cyril Deal, whom Dr. Salter delivered as a baby 21 years earlier, who was later to become a dominant member of Easterford.
